1.Using only your notes and charts from the reading last night, answer the following short answer test questions on a separate sheet of paper:
Describe the major changes that occurred for people during the Neolithic Age and how it affected their way of life.
What were some advantages and disadvantages of the changes?
How did the roles of men and women change?
How did changes during the Neolithic Age lead to civilization?
Describe the six characteristics of early civilizations. What was each like during this time?

Trade your paper with a partner. (Students who do not do their homework will not be able to participate in this activity and will lose participation points. Instead, work together on the homework assignment.)
Use a colored pencil to underline any details. Remember the difference between using actual detail and being too general.
If your partner gave 5 pieces of specific detail that accurately answers the question, give them full credit.
Be sure to go over questions as a class and record any information you need into your charts. Your test is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 31, and you will be asked to complete eight short answer questions with the material from yesterday and today.
